BEEF STROGANOFF

Beef Stroganoff was created in Russia in the early 1800’s by Count Pavel Stroganov’s personal chef, who was most likely French and named the dish after the count.  Count Stroganov served as the Adjutant General to Alexander I.  The Stroganoff’s creamy mushroom sauce is packed with flavor, so it pairs well with any starch. Our Stroganoff sauce is ladled over a bed of egg noodles typically served as a side for meat dishes in Eastern Europe.  The popular dish’s main ingredients include tender beef, whipping cream, sour cream, Dijon Mustard, beef broth, onions, and tasty mushrooms with a hint of Worcestershire sauce.
