Life has been hectic in recent weeks.  If anyone has moved [who hasn’t], you know how time-consuming it can be. and that is what I have been doing. I’ll be out in Williamson Valley by the end of the month. The detail Garage will be up and running within a week or two and the new kitchen is perfect.

My friend Wade Ramirez has come up from Tucson to help with the move. Wade was a huge help back in Tucson when we managed the St. Francis Shelter. In those days, we cooked for over 100 people a night at the shelter, doing the best we could on a shoestring budget. Every night, we prepared a homemade soup, salad, and an entree that included meat, starch, and veggies topped off by a fresh dessert. Depending on if he sticks around, Wade may be helping with food preparation.

Most importantly, Wade is an excellent landscaper, meticulous in his work. Soon, that part of Carl’s Corner will be operational. This is the time of year to get those flower beds cleaned out of dead branches. Yard maintenance will be available soon also. How about all those flower beds that need replanting?  Think about a fresh new batch of annuals to spruce up the yard this year. It’s also a good time to feed the lawn after a thorough power rake etc… Let us give you a hand. All you have to do is sit on the porch and watch it all come into bloom.

Besides a little snow these past few days, Spring is in the air!
